We are assisting Mark van Kathoven an FBRA member with his ongoing improvements to Western Park. They are using heavy-grade mulch to assist with plant growth, and importantly to slow down the flow of stormwater down the valley (this is called green infrastructure). There have been serious flooding issues at the bottom of the park. Storm-water drains are being improved as well.
